Swadhisthan Chakra

Swadhisthan Chakra : The Sanskrit word swa means "self" and sthan means "dwelling place". The literal meaning of word Swadhisthan is 'One's own abode' This chakra associated with speaking pleasure and security. It is associated with the tongue and genital organs. In Swadhisthan the emphasis is on overcoming fear,and on enjoyment,on pleasurable situation and sexual interaction.When Swadhisthan becomes active,it may manifest as overwhelming desires and cravings. on deeper level, is seat of the individual and collective unconscious; it is the source of all past mental impression stored in the form of archetypes. It is the center of humankind's most premitive and deep routed instincts. By purifying this centre,the animal nature is transcended.
